This is from Jill, one of our wine experts here at Lakeview Wine Co., and her staff pick is our EastDell Riesling.
Characteristics: Fruity and crisp, with notes of citrus, peach and orange blossom on the nose. The palate echoes the nose with honey, green apple and tropical fruits.
Pairs with: Hawaiian pizza, sushi, or have it well-chilled on its own!
In the wise words of Jill:
“I first tried the EastDell Riesling during my training session and I fell in love. It is a really easy introduction for someone just getting into wine because it is really fruity and crisp. I get a lot of green apple and honey for the tasting notes. A fun recipe to try with this wine is to fill the blender halfway up with ice, then pour in some Riesling and a few squirts of honey and blend it all together to create the perfect summer slushie!”
