This is Andrew, one of our wine experts here at Lakeview Wine Co., and his staff pick is our Lakeview Cellars Syrah.
Characteristics:This robust and intense Syrah displays notes of ripe dark fruits, black pepper, and spice. On the palate you will find complex notes of black cherry, leather, pepper, and a hint of mocha.
Pairs with:
Try with stuffed veal topped with sautéed garlic and pancetta.

“The Lakeview Cellars Syrah is a delicious, full-bodied, dry red wine with a strong oak presence. Being from a cold climate region in Niagara, this Syrah is different from Syrah or Shiraz of warmer climate regions like Australia or South Africa. However, it does maintain some of the standard characteristics of dark berries, smoked meat, and a trademark black pepper finish. I love pairing this Syrah with grilled beef or pasta with ragu sauce, or simply enjoyed on its own. Enjoy!”
