FRESH Sparkling Strawberry Sangria

Since June 22, 2018, every fourth Friday of June is designated as the day to celebrate pink wine around the world. We have a perfect recipe below to enjoy this delicious and beautifully pink coloured wine!

FRESH Sparkling Rosé

Our FRESH Sparkling Rosé offers up refreshing notes of cherry, strawberry, pomegranate and citrus dominate the nose. The palate echoes with additional notes of raspberry and strawberry jam.

🍓 Sparkling Strawberry Sangria 🍓

Ingredients:

Strawberry Syrup Ingredients:
2 cups sliced Strawberries
½ cup Granulated Sugar
½ cup Water

Sangria Ingredients:
3 cups sliced strawberries
1 cup raspberries
1 lemon, halved and sliced
Juice of 1 lemon
¼ cup lemon liqueur
1 bottle FRESH Possibilities Sparkling Rosé
Strawberry syrup

Directions for Strawberry syrup:
Place the strawberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan set over medium heat. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened and juicy.
Set a fine mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the strawberry mixture through the strainer. Chill the syrup.
Directions for Sangria:
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Chill for several hours to allow the flavours to combine. Serve chilled over ice.
